Here’s a short groove study inspired by “Voices Inside My Head” by The Police. The video is split into three clear sections:

• 0:00 – 0:37: Extract of the original groove feel, focusing on the hypnotic pulse and hi‑hat texture.

• 0:37 – 0:52: Groove variations with paradiddle‑style fills, accent shifts, and linear ideas.

• 0:52 – 1:30: Same concept repeated: groove + paradiddleish fills to build flow, control, and consistency.

I’m using this as a practice routine to work on pocket, ghost‑note control, and Copeland‑inspired articulation. Exploring paradiddles inside a groove and practicing to develop smoother transitions between time and fills.
