We are proud to be championing drum education at events around the UK and US - check out our travels so far!
In July 2024, we were invited to host a stall in the Music Market at RADAR Festival, held at the O2 Victoria Warehouse, Manchester, UK. The wonderful team at RADAR gave us free weekend tickets to give away to 2 lucky winners on our mailing list.
At the event, we taught free drum lessons on an Efnote 3X to festival attendees, and had the opportunity to interview various drummers from the performing bands, including Jay Postones from Tesseract, and Baard Kolstad from Leprous.
We also had a drumometer challenge running throughout the weekend (as many single hits you can play in 20 seconds). Check out the final leaderboard scores!

In September 2023, Emma was invited to give a masterclass in The Lounge at the UK Drum Show at the ACC Liverpool, UK. She spoke about her experience teaching online lessons, creating educational content, and performing in bands. This was followed by a Q&A with the audience and a performance of a song from her band Ilona Mahieu, accompanied by the vocalist Ilona.

Bridging the Gap Between Acoustic and Electric – Emma Taylor (with Efnote) | Saturday 10:30
Talented musician, educator and social media influencer, Emma Taylor, who recently teamed up with Efnote, will kick off the digitalDrummer E-drum Experience Lab with a session titled ‘Bridging the Gap Between Acoustic and Electric’.
Known for her captivating drumming videos and passionate dedication to music, Emma will draw on her lifelong experience with electric drum kits and their benefits.
She’ll be using an EFNOTE 3X kit to explain how e-drums make her work more accessible and straightforward, particularly in online teaching, creating video lessons, live streaming, and recording music/MIDI.
Additionally, she’ll share insights into what she appreciates about my current setup, including the timing practice tools and touch-sensitive cymbals on the 3x mode.
Emma will also perform a couple of songs from her band Ilona Mahieu.
